Marks 4WD Small Block Chevy Engine Conversion Kit for 1974-1990 Toyota Land Cruisers
This engine conversion kit is designed to mount a Chevy Small Block V8 Engine/Chevy V6 Engine to the stock Land Cruiser transmission. This engine conversion kit is designed to use a GM clutch and flywheel, while using the Toyota Bellhousing. Uses a flywheel housing with a GM Bellhousing Mounting Pattern on one side and Toyota Bell Housing Mounting Pattern on the other. This flywheel housing measures roughly 4.8″ long.
The transmission input shaft is coupled to the clutch via an input extension shaft. The shaft has the Toyota internal spline and pilot diameter on the transmission end, and GM external spline and pilot diameter on the engine end. The front of the shaft is supported in the crankshaft by a sealed ball bearing inside an adaptor ring. We also include GM weld-in engine mounts, bell housing mount, throw-out bearing & pilot bearing with this kit.
Transmission Fitment: Toyota H55F (1982-1990), Toyota H42F (1980-1990), Toyota H41F (1980-1990), and Toyota H42 (1974-1980).
Engine Fitment: Chevy Small Block V8 (Gen 1), Chevy 4.3L V6, and Chevy 3.8L V6 Engines.
NOTE: This kit does not require you to move your transmission. Allows you to retain your factory driveshafts, transmission, and transfer case.
