Aqualu Aluminum Storage Tailgate for 1958-1984 4x-Series Toyota Land Cruisers
These tailgates are designed to be a direct replacement for the OEM Tailgate. These tailgates are made of 5/32″ Thick Marine Grade 5052 Aluminum Alloy. Designed to work with Stock Body, Aqualu Body, and SWB Toyota 45-Series Land Cruisers. We also offer these with storage built into the tailgate. Comes with the aluminum tailgate, limiting straps, formed catches, lockable paddle handles with keys, and aluminum hinges.
Outside Tailgate Dimensions: 41-5/8″ x 15-1/2″
Storage Compartment Dimensions: 38″ x 13″ x 3″
Maximum Weight Capacity: 250 Pounds
NOTE: These are designed to be used on 4x-Series Land Cruisers and Short Wheel Base 45-Series Toyota Land Cruisers. Will not work on Long Wheel Base 4x-Series Truck Land Cruisers. For the SWB FJ45, you will have to drill holes for mounting to any of the replacement tubs. The stainless steel hinges are already installed on the outside of the tailgate.
